I gave something, but I didn’t get anything back. I’ll miss you but I won’t let you know, I’ll smile like you’ve never seen. You’ll think Im just as happy as I was before, but you let me down and I just can’t sit and hide. I’ll never say hello love to you again, its all just so simple in the end. I’ll ride down the open road, I won’t let anyone know that it was you and I before today. they’ll think it had always been this way. and I won’t cry like that girl that just got her heart broken, I won’t be cold like that girl whose seen it all before. Living life is always the same it’s never gonna get easier but maybe it’ll be better this way.
